Hi Garen
I have some information on the background of Susan Sturrock (born at Guthrie, Angus-22 May, 1837) and her parents. I don't know how much you have on this line-let me know and I'll fill in the gaps if there are any. Agnes Fairweather was born at Rescobie on 3 May, 1782-but you probably know that.
You are clearly one of my wife's distant relatives-this family tree business is fascinating. We have met a number of people through it and the basic details-birth, marriage, death- come alive when details of the lives of ancestors are revealed through tales past down through the generations.
I have not yet tried to trace Alexander Langlands-but I'll have a look at the Old Parish records and find out if I can make a connection with Ann Petrie etc.
I don't know of the William Sturrock born about 1860-he may be related-but Sturrock is a very common name in Angus.
Nice to hear from you

Ron
