Hello,
My maiden name was Goodale. My Great Uncle was born in Dundee.
John Fairweather GOODALE died aged 79 in 1980? in Arbroath.
Charles Fehrenbach GOODALE died in 1977 aged 75, shown as married to Jeanie
Fairweather
DUNDAS or SHAW (i.e. either she was previously married to Mr DUNDAS and was
née SHAW,
or the reverse ............), informant son William GOODALE.
Also, my Grandfather's middle name was Duncan and my dad first name was Duncan. I'm thinking that Duncan is a surname from some where but haven't found the link as yet.
Any of these names ring a family bell?
