My GG Grandmother was Janet Fairweather (Jessie). She married Alexander Scott in 1864 and lived at Smithfield Farm in the Parish of Monikie, Angus Scotland. Jessie's parents were James Fairweather and Janet Miller (I think as the marriage document is faded)Alexander and Jessie were married in the burgh of Dundee which would suggest that my Fairweather connection is Dundee given the tradition of marriages taking place in the bride's parish.
Does anyone recognise the above and can give me more information? Thank you
