Hi Ann,
On the site A Renae Fairweather
posted on 7/14/09 that her father Rennick confirmed that his ancestors are from Belize. He also told her that 3 brothers left Belize for JAMAICA. maybe A followup can be done to find out the names of the brothers or her grandparents etc.
Ann do you have the names of your grandparents? Would they be related to the brothers who migrated to Jamaica? Do you think they originally came from Scotland? I am from Jamaica and it has been rumoured that my ancestors came from Belize, Guyana after leaving Scotland. There is a Robert Fairweather whose name began to appear as a landowner in the 1830's but there are also references to other Fairweathers as early as 1817.
