Looking for any information about John Fairweather. Real name was John Carnegie in Scotland. Defecter from army in scotland around 1850-1860. Came to U.S. and took mother's maiden name "Fairweather". Settled in Illinois, buried in Cherokee, Iowa. Trying to find out where in Scotland he came from. E-mail me if you have any info.
