Thank you for looking through your information for me. Again It was just an assumption that Peter's mothers maiden name was Fairy, although it does seem to be an unusual name to give a boy!
I have just recieved the 1851 census data for Peter Fairy Cross and it gives his mothers name as Hannah b.1805 Helington Hunts. Now Helington doesn't exist so i think it may be Ellington. Hannah married Peter's father George in 1842 and this is her second marriage, her first is to John Moakes/Mokes I don't know where or when this took place, (It wasn't Fen Stanton), but it must be prior to 1828 because this is when John and Hannah's first child Mary Ann was christened.
