Nils Jensen Halch is an ancestor of mine. He was born about 1645 and died 1730 in Selbu, Norway. He was the local military officer in Selbu. I have seen that the name is in the family of Tomas Angel a very active merchant and business person in that era.
I am trying to find where he was born or where he came from.
Does anyone have this family in the 1600's in Norway?
