Charlotte's maiden name was Jenkins and she was the second wife of Josephs. Ada Thorpe was his first wife who bore 3 children before she died of child-bed fever and Charlotte was her best friend whom she asked her husband Joseph to marry which he did. A son William falconbridge married a Catherine Jenkins (I assume that was his step sister) and fathered Morgan and Joseph.
