This looks very encoraging.
The date seems to tie up and also the Location.
I have an old directory for the Isle of Wight which lists Fallick's in Ventnor who were Bakers at 122 High Street.
Ventnor is a samll town on the South East Coast of the Island which started as a Fishing Village. It boomed in Victorian times when Wilfred was there due to its two railway lines linking it to the rest of the Island and the Ferry, and thence to London. It was very popular as a holiday resort. Due to its location and temporate climate it was also famous for its convelesent homes and the treatement of asthma and similar illnesses.
The railways have long gone and the town is now a shadow of its former self but still popular in the summer.
It is approximately 15 miles from where I live in carisbrooke which is very close to the centre of the Island.
