Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Well we have now arrived. On Tuesday's 9:00 (West Coast) CBS has launched a new series titled "Guardian." The lead character is a hot shot lawyer in Pittsburgh, PA who is forced to do child protective work after a run-in with the law. The character's name, Nick, you guessed it, "Fallin." There's no possibility of mistaking the spelling, because we periodically see the name emblazoned on the firm door. There's also a father ("Burton"), so we've actually scored a double. Normally, I wouldn't shill for TV, but we likely owe this one a look see.
How the writers ever found their way to us, we will likely never know. But give it a year or so, and maybe people will stop assuming your name is spelled "Fallon."
