I, too, am descended from Charles Fallin I in Northumberland, Va.. I have been trying to find his parentage and where they came from. I have tried the Barbados connection and have had no luck. The Ireland research has yielded the names of Peter Fallon, Jr. circa 1641, who was a merchant who operated bridge mills with Joneses in or near Athlone, Roscommon Co. Ireland. Also Peter, circa 1623, who became soveriegn of Athlone, and William, his brother, the two of which were the only survivors of some conflict between prostestants and catholics at Athlone. Prior to that, Circa 1606, was Richard Fallon, also a merchant, and soveriegn of Athlone, and had brothers Peter, a bailiff, and Nicholas, head of a burgess. circa 1599 Athlone town charter mentions Edmund Fallon and his children Nicholas, David, William. and Daniel. Daniel might possibly be the father of Charles I, or Redmond Fallin of Virginia. I have earlier research also. If any of this sounds familiar to any of you please let me know. If anyone has the Barbados connection I would really like to know that. Thanks Clara Jean Fallin Nussey
