James H. Fallin,
I just read in your post of 19 Dec 2000, that your father was James "Taylor" Fallin.

My G.Grandmother was Mary Jane "Taylor". Her older sister, Rhoda Ann Catherine "Taylor", married William Crockett Fallin. I have an old picture of W.C.and Rhoda Catherine
Fallin.

Now...my question. Do you happen to know who the "Taylor"
ancestors were?

I cannot seem to find the "Taylor" history anywhere...other than the 1860 Thomaston, Upson Co., GA census. Here I found Rhoda and Mary Taylor with some of their siblings in the Moses Taylor and D. household. Then, I found a marriage license with Moses Taylor married to Dicey Hosia/Hosea..in Pike Co., GA.

Was your father, James "Taylor" Fallin, named for the Taylor families? Do you know who they were?

Please email me at
rettapu@nts-online.net
Thanks, and I will be anxiously watching for your reply.
Retta Pugh/Peugh
