Dear Lisa,

It is possible that "Winley" [an odd name in the Northern Neck] was supposed to be "Wildey," but that's purely speculative. Although Jane seems to be a common Wildey name [I have Wildeys in my own line through Thomas A. Fallin's marriage to Mary (Polly) Haynie], but I don't see any reference to a "Joane." Give me a little more detail on the William Wildey you're referring to and I can see what I have here.

I'm not sure what connection there might be between William Andrew's deed and the Eyes (or Wildey) families.
