Robert Fallam/Fallan (Fallon or Fallin?) .... could it be?

Appomattox (Present Day Petersburg, Virginia ..

about 1670 Thomas Batts or Battes and Robert Fallan (Fallam)
set out to explore all the way to present day West Virginia?

Could he be a grandfather or great grandfather of
Redman Fallon?

I wonder about that, they always butcher our name. I've received letters from companies with my last name written as "SALLIN" "Follin" or even "Fowler" .... I'm use to it, and historical records are no different. Always mangling what I think is just a simple name.

Anyway ... that would be interesting if we are related to Robert Fallan (Fallam) (Fallon) (Fallin) (Fallen) (Falling) etc.
