Thanks Jay, but I don't think so.From my understanding, my grandmother died the year I was born (1978) and I think she died in McAllen, Tx, not sure, but I've heard that she is buried there.I assume the year because of the story of how I got my name.Although her name was Manuela, people called her Maime, and before she died, she told my parents that if they had a girl not to name the child after her.So my dad did a curve ball and instead of naming me Manuela, he named me after her nickname, Maime. However, I asked my mother if she remembers the day my grandmother died and she thinks it was 1976, but she thinks her last name was Rivera, not Aguirre, considering that my mom says my grandmother used to visit relatives in La Grulla whose last names were Rivera.Would you happen to know what is up with that?I hope I am not bothering you, but I'm just interested in learning more about my grandmother.I'm interested in creating a family tree, but I'm not sure if it is ok to ask for certain information, considering some people pay money to do their research.Hopefully I am not being rude, so feel free to correct me if you wish.Thank you.
