Farias from Portugal

Hey there, I'm Marcos Farias form Portugal and this branch of the Farias family comes from Castelo Rodrigo county on the border with Spain (actually the last portion of the territory to have been integrated in the Portuguese crown, in the fourteenth century, after centuries of war against the Moors, as well as Castille and León). This county is located in north-central Portugal and close to such Spanish cities as Ciudad Rodrigo, Salamanca and Zamora. Greetings for everyone of the Farias familiy out there in the new world! (Actually, in a couple of weeks I will be flying to Montevideo, Uruguay and Arequipa, Peru.)
