Sabe alguien cual es el origen del apellido Farias? y el origen de la rama/s que dió/dieron lugar a los Farias de Argentina?

Anybody knows the origin of Farias surname? and anybody knows that of the branch/es that originated the Farias families of Argentina?

I am Ariel Alejandro Farias, I am biologist and I live in Mar del Plata, a coastal city in the south east of Buenos Aires province (Argentina). My father was Vicente Raúl Farias and came from Loberia Town in south eastern Buenos Aires too. My family was in this territory since the 1800's or before. Someone tell me that my grand grand grand father was an employed (maybe a secretary) of Juan Manuel de Rosas, a "caudillo" (governor, dictator and popular leader) of Buenos Aires Provice at mid 1800's, before the final constitution of the country, during the civil war betwen federales and unitarios. Rosas was federal.
That's all I Known about my origins. I would like if you could send me any information that could help me to build the history of my family.
Thank you.
