Melissa, you may want to look into Robert "Esq" Faries' (b1733) kin to see if there happens to be a Mary that would fit. Robert/Hannah had a son named John McWhorter who is said to be named after the McWhorter family that lived in the Delaware area at that time (or a little before), I would assume most likely a specific "John McWhorter".
With it being that Hugh and Mary came from Ireland together, and directly to South Carolina, I'm not sure how they would link to Robert, if so. There were of course so many McWhorter and Faries families in Ireland that I may be way off with my thinking.
