I don't have any info on the the spelling of Faries, but am interested in what info you have on Moses. Moses Faries (Farris)was my ggg-grandfather, birthdate unknown, died July,1812. He also had a son, Moses T, b 1806, and a son Robert Miller Farris, who had a son, Moses P,b 1846. The first Moses was reported to have been from Ireland, but I have no proof. I believe the other Moses' to be from York County, SC. Any connection there?
