Hi, Ann,
The info I have on Robert Faries, who I also am descended from is that he was born abt. 1734 in Ireland and first married _______ Wiley there. She passed away and he remarried, this time to a Hannah McWhorter, who I had been given to understand was the mother of Moses Faries, who is my line. Robert Faries died 1804, and there is a will in the York County courthouse dated 1803 that should say who is the mother of his 8 children surviving. Another ancestor of mine, Joseph Carroll, was a witness to this will, probated 6-16-1803. Do you by any chance have a copy of this will? I am stuck out her in the mid-west and can't get back to the York Co. courthouse to look for myself! If you would like to meet a farflung cousin, e-mail me and we will talk more.
