I am researching John Martin that moved to SC before the revolution. It is such a common name and I have had trouble
connecting him to his parents positively. I feel like his father was John Martin and his mother Ann Farris (Phares)from Virginia.
He had a son named Phares and it continued through the descendants. Anyone familiar with this line? I would appreciate any
help or suggestions. thanks,pat
