J. Samuel Farries, David Walter Farries/Christmasville & McKenzie, TN

My family has a family Bible with the following information:

Wash Farries married Jody Wilson in Williamsburg, VA (probably in the 1840's.) Wash and Jody had at least 1 son, J. Samuel C. Farries, born in Charlotte, NC. He married Coeline Stinson.

Samuel Farries & Coeline Stinson's children were:
--Elizabeth (Lizzy) Farries, who married Ferd Hobbs in Charlotte, NC. They had 2 children who lived, Sam Hobbs and Lena Hobbs.
--Jane Farries, who married Jon Everett, no children.
--Margaret (Maggie) Farries, who married John Featherstone and lived in Christmasville, TN.
--L. William Farries, who married Mattie Moore.
--David Walter Farries, who married Nancy Alice Patton. He was born in Charlotte, NC, 10/21/1854 and died on 12/27/1916 in Celeste, OK. Nancy Alice Patton was born in 1863 or 1864 in McKenzie, TN, and died in Christmasville, TN, on 1/15/1897.

David Walter Farries changed his name to "Farris" when he was married just because the marriage certificate had been made out incorrectly. He and Nancy Alice Patton had the following children:
--David Thomas Farris, born 1887 in McKenzie, TN, and died 1890 in Christmasville, TN.
--George Taylor Cleveland Farris, born 11/4/1888 in Christmasville, TN, married Lillian Alma Staten on 6/18/1911 in Mead, OK, and died in Carrizo Springs, TX, in 1989. They had 9 children, including my father, Joe Weldon Farris.
--Dorsey Bill Farris, born 3/1893 in Christmasville, TN, and died 2/10/1973 in Durant, OK.
--Ocie Neat Farris, born 1/6/1895 in Christmasville, married Edward Wilson and died in Cisco, TX They had at least 1 son, Thomas Wilson.

I'd appreciate hearing any information about any of these people. Thanks!

Kelley
