Here is a link that I have often found helpful. You can enter information to search for an ancestor, or you can click on the browse collections and scroll down through what is available.

http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0

At that site I found the following two items of information that seem to confirm Thomas Farley, b. about 1805 in PA, as the father of Phillip Farley, married to Sarah Bukey.

1850 Census, Cabell County VA (now West Virginia)

Thomas Farley, age 45, b PA
Margaret Farley, age 41, b. VA
Philip Farley, age 20, b. OH
Minerva Farley, age 17, b. OH
Thomas Farley, age 14, b. OH
Harvey Farley, age 10, b. OH
Salick H. Farley, age 7, b. VA

West Virginia Marriages

Sarah Bukey m. Phillip Farly, 21 Feb 1853 in Cabell Co. WV.
