The funeral for Lewis E. Farley, 76, who died Friday, June 21, 1974, was held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist church with Rev. Charles Hale officiating.
Burial was in the Chatsworth cemetery.
He was born Feb. 5, 1896, at Kempton, the son of George and Ida May Bute Farley. He married Emma Wright, June 29, 1927, at Kankakee.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Petree, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Forrest, Indianapolis and George, Chatsworth; seven grandchildren and on great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
He was a farmer and carpenter and a member of the United Methodist church.
Pallbearers were Durwood Wright, Merlyn Wright, Donald Wright, Keith Lamb, Robert Farley and Stanley Farley. Mrs. Elma Trinkle was organist and Mrs. James Haberdorn was soloist. Culkin Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
