The family of Frank E and Mary G is in the 1920 U.S. Census
living in Buffalo, Ward 22, Erie, New York with children Victor A age 12 and Geraldine age 8. Also living with them is Frank's father John Farley, widower, born Ireland
In that Census Frank's father and mother are both said to have been born in Canada which, of course in incorrect as his father living with them is reported being born in Ireland. In the 1930 Census Frank Farley says that his father is born in Ireland and his mother born in England

In the 1891 Census of Canada Province-Manitoba, District-Winnipeg #10 Ward 4
John Farley, age 51, born Ireland
Elizabeth Farley, age 49, born England
Leonan Farley age 24, dau. born Ontario
Frank E Farley age 16, son, born Ontario

I'm afraid I can't help you much with Mary MacDonald. There are literally hundreds of Mary MacDonalds of approx the right age in Nova Scotia alone.

Happy Hunting
Burdette
