Dear Thersea, I went the town historian's office in the town office building last wednessday. I found my clan under the 1860 census. But not in the 1870 census. His name was Terance and his wife Katherine aka Kate. He was in his twenties and worked on the railroad. Kate was in her teens. There were no children listed but because of there age I think they must have been only married a short time. His place of birth is recorded as Ireland and her is New Hampshire. My records have them moving to Annsville N.Y. {west of Rome N.Y.} where he died and she remarried and moved to Rome and is suppose to be buried there. I haven't found the exact area due to so many cermerties. But If you can and want to pass on so data such as names and dates I will gladly check to see if there is a hit. There son John was born in the Chittengo area and I am trying to that route to see if any data comes up. The historian office has a file on a Farley clan but none of data matched. Hope to here back from you soon. God Bless. Jamie.
