Thanks for your response. I will tell you what I have on James Silas Farlow. Also, I have one more child listed of John & Frances-
S.M.- that's all I know though I believe it is a male child. As for Johns parentage, all I know is census lists him born in Delaware.
James Silas Farlow b.16 July, 1850 Jefferson Illinois m. Malinda Ellen Redmond 15 October, 1871 Jefferson, Illinois.
James died 19 May 1918 Spring Garden, Illinois-buried Hams Grove Cemetery Jefferson Co, Ill
In Hams Grove these are the Farlow listings:
FARLOW: top of stone gone
FARLOW, Cora Bell 1877-1878
FARLOW, James Silas 16 July 1850-19 May, 1918
FARLOW, Samuel M. 1853-1925
REDMAN, Miriam 1859-1897
Perhaps first listing could be John & Samuel M. a brother?

My grandparents, RD & Doris Farlow settled in Uhrichsville where my mother was raised and I grew up at RD# 1 Uhrichsville.
