Re: FARLOW and FARLEY connections

William J. Farlow is shown under a Deutsche (German) site on "U.S. Passport Applications 22 Feb. 1830 - 15 November 1831." There is also a granddaughter of President Tyler who married an Unknown Farlow (Charles City Co., Va.) in the 1800s; and there are no Farley connections to the Tylers that I am aware of.
The attempt to connect the Farley line is promulgated by those who show the marriage between a John Farlow and an Elizabeth Akin and have attempted to prove that Farlow is actually Farley thereby making Elizabeth Akin the wife of John Farley, Jr. I have yet to subscribe to this since the evidence is not there. There is also another reference that shows a Farloe immigrating to this country and it would seem this is a connection to the Farlow(e), not Farley. Any ideas on any of this?
