I noticed the discussion on Farlows and have recently discovered that we are related to the Farlows throught the child of Isaac J. Farlow and Edith Ashburn. They married 15 Aug 1850 in Tipton County, IN and had one child a daughter Sarah RuthAnn Farlow in May 1851. Isaac and Edith separated before 1855. Edith then Married Albin Shaw and the 1860 Indiana census shows Albin Shaw, his children by a previous marriage, Edith and Sarah A Farlow age 8. Sarah RuthAnn Farlow married Isaac F Denney in Tipton County, IN 26 July 1874. The Denney family then moved to Dallas County IA. Isaac Farlow and his new wife Martha Ellen Bringham and new family can also be found in the 1870 Dallas County, IA Census. Here Isaac has reversed the order of his given names going by Jarome I. Farlow. RuthAnn and her family (including her Mother Edith) moved from Dallas County, IA to Kinder LA in 1891. Ruth Ann (Farlow) Denney was my Great Grandmother. I remember her as she lived to be 101 years old. RuthAnn and her Mother, Edith, are buried in the Kinder McRill Cemetery next to Isaac Franklin Denney. I have a photo from RuthAnn's half brother, Walter Riley Farlow, ofhis family (Walter is the son of Isaac Farlow by his second marriage). One of Walters' sons, Miles Farlow, married a Gladys Fish March 23, 1913.

Thought you might like to know.
