Reuben was my great-grandfather. He lived in Rush Co. and was born 1832 and died 1921. I have traced my ancestors back through a Thomas Farlow who came from England in 1623 and beyond him in England to a John Farley, born approx. 1465. I also have the Farlow name traced back to a Philip dePharelawe. He was the first Lord of Farlow Manor approx. 1194. I have the ancestry traced further to an Ethelric Leofwine, a Saxon living in Mercia approx. 940 a.d. There were several interesting characters between the two names, ranging from pirate to an Earl Dorman. If you are intereste in my information, let me know.
