       William Farlow is Dead.

William Farlow died at 10 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.A. Denton, 811 North Union street. He became ill three weeks ago while visiting in Texas. A week ago today he arrived in Independence on a stretcher but failed to rally after he got here. He was 72 years old.

It has since been cut up into plots and is being sold out for building purposes. The farm contained 104 acres. Mr. Farlow and his family saw Independence and Kansas City gradually creep towards one another until at last the advance from the Independence side has come to and is passing over his own place.
