I show a Ruth Farlow who was the daughter of Isaac Jerome Farlow. Isaac was the son of Reuben Farlow who was the son of George Farlow who was six generations removed from Thomas Farlow who came from England in 1623.

I am descended Reuben Farlow. He was my great-great grandfather. According my records Ruth was the granddaughter of Reuben. Reuben was born in Rush County, Indiana on April 15, 1832.

George's grandfather came to Roan County, near Salisbury, NC. I don't know where he came from originally. I don't have any dates for Ruth, however, she has a brother Edward J., who was born January 2, 1861. He married Elizabeth Lamoreaux, September 23, 1883. She also had a brother James Nelson who at sometime was in the California legislature (no dates). Other siblings were Henry M., Walter R., Ida, Emma, Mary E., and Albert A.

I have other information showing the genealogy from the original Thomas Farlow, who came from England in 1623,up to the present time. I also have names of four generations back from him in England.

My information is based on work done by E. Edgar Farlow and a Denys King-Farlow (of England). Some of my information is also based on records found in the Richmond, VA, library and the Fort Wayne, IN, library which is the second-best genealogy library in the U.S. Only the Mormon library has more records. I will share any information I have if you are willing to pay for copying, shipping, and packaging.

I live in Huntington, IN. Where are you located? I prefer to have you answer me directly by e-mail at I get so many requests, and it is easier for me to keep track of who is who by keeping the e-mails for reference. Hope to hear from you.
