I have a civil war pension that has a deposition from a daughter of Elizabeth FARLOW GRACE. She mentions a cousin, George FARLOW, from Brownsville, Nemaha County, Nebraska. She, also, mentions a cousin, Nancy FARLOW HUNT, husband Thomas HUNT, from Butler County, Iowa. These are children of Absolom FARLOW and Sarah (possibly Sarah MARTIN). This would make Absolom a brother to my 3Great grandmother, Elizabeth GRACE. Is this Absolom the son of Uriah FARLOW from North Carolina and Indiana? Elizabeth was born in North Carolina in about 1806. This Absolom was born in North Carolina, also.

In a newspaper obituary for Nancy FARLOW HUNT, it says she came to Iowa in 1854 with her parents and that she was born December 2, 1840 in Kokomo, Indiana. Both George and Nancy were born in Indiana. The children for Absolom are: Mary, Uriah, Nancy, George, William, Sarah, Abagail, Almaretta, Laura, and Albert. (These taken from census')

Absolom in Howard County, Indiana in 1850, Butler County, Iowa in 1860, and Sullivan County, Missouri in 1870.

I would appreciate any information on these families. I have been looking for paper proof that Elizabeth is daughter of Uriah, this could be it! Thanks!!
