Capt. John Farlow, War of 1812, Indiana

Hello Farlow Family Historians. I am not one of you but have some information and a question. There was a Capt. John Farlow who commanded a Company of Col. McFarland's 8th Regiment of the Indiana Militia during the War of 1812. This was prior to statehood for Indiana which was yet identified as a Territory. I think but cannot yet prove that this John Farlow was a resident at one time of Union County, Indiana. My information is based on a copy of a record for another soldier who served in this military unit, said document from the National Archives in Washington, D.C. Can anyone provide information about the campaigns, if any, of Capt. John Farlow's Company? I am interested because the geographic locations may assist me in identifying the soldier who served in this unit whose name was Isaac Shelby. Any assistance appreciated.
