I descend from the Williams' you mention in your Farlow post. William Williams (b. 1807) was my ggreat-grandfather. His Mother's name was Nancy born in GA abt. 1780. I am told she was a Walker. William's father was b. abt 1778 in SC. Our family lore is that his name was George and was originally from Ireland.

I am hoping you may have information/more details to the story you relayed. Even the origin of Missouri's husband Farlow as it may lead me to information on William's ancesters. Neither Missouri or her Farlow show in the MS census, only their son George Washington Farlow, b. 1833 and his family.

My email is I look forward to your response. Thank you.
