Wow! I guess other folks really do read that old stuff!

In the years since those original posts, I have managed to find a few more puzzle pieces. Now, mind you, I haven't been able to verify much of this from other sources, but according to the Weslyan Methodist master birth list floating around the internet, it appears the Mary Ann Graham I seek was born on 03/24/1850 in Chatham, Kent Township, Ontario to George and Sarah Graham. She MAY have had a twin sister, Margaret Jane, but the Weslyan record is confusing (frankly, at my age, so is a glass of water!). It's also possible her full name was Mary Ann Jane Graham - the "Jane" coming from her mother, Sarah Jane, I imagine. She is supposed to have died some time after 1894, but that is questionable.

At any rate, everything we though we knew about her turned out to belong to another Mary Graham. I have not been able to find any trace of her whatsoever other than the entry in the Weslyan birth record. Based on a couple of other clues, I suspect she died at birth or shortly thereafter. I have been able to find data concerning her supposedly-twin sister, Margaret, but not a lick concerning her.

Her Father, on the other hand, is pretty well documented, and he wasn't a painter or anything else in Ireland as he was born in Ontario around 1822, and moved to Nebraska shortly before the Civil War.
