Dear Jerry,
Very intersting that you have located an old family bible....did you see the entry? Or was the information passed on to you from another family memeber?
Hate to be so calous...but next week I will be in Glasgow and would very much like to see if I can find anything for your Mary Farlow! Funny how you think she is Irish? Was this stated in the bible also?
Clear you mind of the US side of things....think Scottish...Thomas William Montgomery:what did he do for a living.do you have any address for him...likewise for Mary Farlow?Believe me...any assitance you give.or can...could be of immeasuable help!!
Do you know for example...exactly where in Glasgow the couple were married?
Hope to hear from you.
Margaret
PS. another thought strikes me...how was Mary's surname spelled in the bible?
