it probably depends on which version of the book you have read, an earlier version in pamphlet form was published in the '40's or '50's
a later version in HB was published in the late 70's, the HB version had copies of all his correspondance and research, he claimed there was a link to Thomas Farley of VA, but i havent been able to confirm who the parents of my John Farlow of DE/PA were, him and his decendants have been verified thru Hinshaws, Quaker extracts.
there is supposedly a family bible somewhere in NC that shows he came from Ireland, but i have noot seen it or a copy of it, all i know is John was a Quaker.
so I am still trying to find if he came from the VA Farleys or the Irish Farlows.
the LDS does have some data but i havent been convinced by it, it seems to be mostly word of mouth, there's even more confusion in the IN/OH Farlows, because there is a Branch there from Germany, that also started out in PA/De ,
it's a never ending quest
and its only a hobbie, only a hobbei
