tabulation of American Farlows descended from Thomas Farlow, who came from England with the early settlers of Virginia."This

According to the book, William Farlow was born in 1754 and married Drucilla Allred, apparently in Randolph Co NC.One son, Nathan Farlow, was b 21 Jul 1790, d 12 Feb 1866, m/1 Martha Lewis 6 Oct 1814; m/2 Eliz. W. Reed 1 May 1849.

Nathan moved his family from Union Co IN to New London, Henry Co., Iowa, in 1842.His will, probated there on 12 Mar 1866, mentioned daughters Eliza Farlow and Charlotte Mason, son Samuel Farlow, stepson Jesse Reed, and the children of Nathan's deceased son William Farlow, who were Mary Jane Witt, Nancy Maria Farlow, Martha Ella Farlow and Thomas Farlow.Son William was born 28 Jul 1815 and died 30 Sep 1851.Other children of Nathan and Martha Farlow were Drucilla (1820-1823), John (1830-1840) and Cynthia (1834-1847).
