Lorene,

Not sure if you still check in here, but would be interested in any information you might have about the Farners. The John Farner mentioned in the first post is my gr-gr-gr grandfather. His daughter, Unie, is my gr-gr grandmother. Unie's daughter, Mary Louise Orndoff, is my great grandmother. Mary Orndoff married James Samuel Dalton, and they had one child, my grandmother, Virginia Eunice Dalton (now I know where the middle name "Eunice" came from). Anyhow, I could share with you information on descendents of Mary Orndoff and James Dalton if you'd like.

Funny because my brick wall has been Mary Louise Orndoff. I only knew her married name--Dalton. My aunt told me she thought Mary's maiden name was Ornoff or Arnoff. I could never get anywhere with those surnames. At a family gathering this weekend, she allowed me to go through her old pictures. There was one of Mary Louise Dalton. On the back it said "Grandma Mary Louise Dalton, maiden name Orndoff." Since just this past weekend, using the correct maiden name, I've opened up so many doors, but would like to correspond with you, or anyone in this line. Thanks!
