Hans Jacob Farni, 1725 in Alsace, later PA?

I have found 1725 and 1727 baptismal records which mention
a Hans Jacob Farni and Barbara Farnie as godparents in the
parish book of Waldersbach, in Alsace. They are said to be
from the nearby hamlet of Salm. They may also have emigrated
later to America, probably ending up in either Lancaster or
Berks counties, Pennsylvania. Anyone who might be able to
place these two, and/or give further information?

Thanks,

Dale Bricker
