Hello Beverley

Welcome to the forum - it is very useful as it enabled me to make contact with my second cousin Edward, however sorry to say that you have not got a link this time but the best of luck for the future.

The Alice Ann Farnworth that Ted was refering to in this post was the daughter of Willam Farnworth and Alice Bolton who married in 1876, unfortunately Alice Ann died in 1895 in a typhoid outbreak that also took here brother Henry and both her parents.

It you have not found it already, I find LancashireBMD very useful, for example was your Alice Ann the one who died in 1937 in Chorley and did she become a Farnworth by either marrying Nathan Farnworth in 1891 or Henry Farnworth in 1901?
