Hi i have just started to research my family tree and im very pleased to see a Farnworth Forum. I was born Ian Farnworth on 171069 at Fairfeild hospital, Bury, Lancs.
My father was Roy Farnworth 310837? and my mother Marrielyne Joan Farnworth 021042 nee Oliver. My father i believe came from the Bolton area and i know they lived in Rochdale for a while. However due to divorce i was adopted by my mothers 2nd husband and have not seen my father for 26 years. Hence i am finding it fairly difficult to research my family tree as i only have scraps of information some of it not accurate im sure. This forum seems geared more to the past than the present but if any of you can provide me with info i would very much apprieciate it, i know i have living relatives in lancashire but i dont know any details.
