Thank-you for your message. My grandfather Edward was born in Chorley (Temple Fields and Heath Charnock come up in some of the family stories as does the name Bibby's farm). Edward married Alice Clayton also of the Chorley area. Both Edward and Alice attended St. James School and I believe that Edward also attended Rivington school He came to Canada at the turn of the century and his wife joined him.
I believe that Edward's father was William Farnworth and his mother was Alice Bolton. William I believe was one of 5 children (George, Henry, William, Alice and Ellen) but the only one to marry. If this is true the family tree gets very narrow at this point, but a little easier to follow. As I posted ib my first message, I have names and birthdates for Edward and his brothers and sisters, and have been able to trace many relaltives from that point to the pressent.
That is the limit of the details I have to this point. I would be most happy to hear more from you.
Edward Farnworth
