British birth certificates
Posted by: Edward Farnworth Date: April 01, 2001 at 07:08:05

Can anyoneplease tell me what information is required to obtain a copy of a British birth certificate. I know the name and birth date (month and day) of my granfather, Edward Farnworth
(b - 1892), is that enough? Also what information is on a birth certificate - names of mother and father I assume. Place of birth. anything else.
Thank-you for any help.
Edward Farnworth
