My Grandmother, Alice Ethel Farnworth was born in Moor Road, Chorley on
2/4/1887. Parents were Daniel Farnworth, Warehouseman & Mary (formerly Culshaw)
Austin Harrison Holden was born in Love Clough, Higher Booths, Rawtenstall on
16/11/1883. Parents were James Holden, Copper Engraver & Fanny (formerly
Harrison)
Austin Harrison married Alice Ethel at St Gregory’s Church, Wild Bank (maybe
Weldbank), Chorley on 16/12/1905.
They later migrated to New Zealand.
Any help in tracing their ancestry greatly appreciated.
