Hi Mark
I don't know if our Farnworths' are connected or not but I do have a Nathan Farnworth married a Bridget Rawlinson April 24/1796. They had the following children:
James b. 1798 m Elizabeth Crankshaw Oct 5/1823 ( My gggrandparents)
John b. 1801 m. Alice Hilton in 1824
Marriah b. 1803 married James Hampson in 1824
Michael b. 1807 married Nancy Smyth in 1835
Nathan b. 1810 died 1853 didn't marry
William b. 1813 married Harriet Pilling
Ellen b. 1815 married Samuel Riding in 1835
I have yet to prove who my first Nathan that married Bridgets parents are or any of his siblings. On some of my research Bridget's last name is spelt Rollinson.
Bridget's parents were Michael Rawlinson and Hannah Simm.
I do have more on the Rawlinson and Farnworth names.
Let me know if you think we might have a connection again these names are from the Bolton, Horwich and Blackrod area.
Also a Thomas Farnworth emigrated to the U.S. in about 1888 so there may have been others here first.
