Thanks for the information, Cheryle. By all means whenever you find anything on Farone or Faraone, please send it to me. I will try to accumulate what I have an send it to you sometime -- I just have to collect it all -- it's in bits and drabs all over my computer. Undoubtedly, having been born in Alvignano, this Joseph was related to my husband's grandfather because that's where Michael came from. What I need to do is order the film for the area and struggle through it. We do have an Italian-born friend who speaks and reads the language, so that will be convenient.

I know what you mean about getting stuck, but instead, I quit and type all kinds of stuff for people and have my own website to keep me busy. I get so involved that I forget that time is running out and I should be doing Al's family. I'm also very interested in the Parillo name, Cheryle, because on the other side of my husband's family he has a grandmother by the name of Mary Parella (God only knows if the spelling on the death certificate was right) who was from Controne, near Salerno.

Please keep in touch, Cheryle. We're going to N. Y. (we live in Ohio) in the Fall, but not up as far as Saratoga. Lovely countryside up there and as you know, there's so much Farone influence!!!! Interesting family to say the least!!!
