I believe John/Jean Cormier, husband of Mary Renna Faulk/Farque, was the son of Alexandre Cormier and Susanne LeDoux. John is not listed in the 1850 Calcasieu Parish, LA census but is listed in the 1860 census record with Alexandre Cormier, Sr. I have more information on the Cormier family in my file at WorldConnect Project. The database is leecrockett.
My Sonnier ancestors are buried in the Cormier Cemetery in Toomey, LA as are Alexandre Cormier, Jr. and his wife, Anna Vincent.
