Hi, I haven't been around for a while, but have continued to research the Courmier-Farque family. You are right. I was able to find and obtain copies of death certificates for my grandfather's brothers; Issac, Arthur C., Joseph Delman, John Adam, and Archie Temus, as well as his sister, Myrtie M. On all these certificates (except Joseph Delman's) the parents are listed as John (Adam) Courmier and Mary Farque. I am satisfied that these are the names of my great grandparents. The only other comment I have is that our family has always spelled our name Courmier as opposed to Cormier, don't know why, but it's a fact. My Dad always said it was spelled that way because they were directly from France and that was the more authentic spelling. Another family member said 'Yeah, directly from France by way of Canada', so who knows. Thanks, Earline
